Give "Miss Austen Regrets" Its Own DVD Release

We, the undersigned, petition BBC Films and/or PBS to release the film "Miss Austen Regrets" as a stand-alone DVD. The film was beautifully and carefully written, artfully directed, and magnificently acted, especially by Olivia Williams in the title role. Filled with both humor and true human emotion, the film gave us Jane Austen as we've never seen her onscreen before: true to who she really was.

We feel strongly that this excellent film deserves its own DVD release -- not to be shoved aside as an extra to accompany another film.
