Spanish citizenship for Sephardic Jews

We, the descendants of Sephardic Jews worldwide, declare ourselves and our descendants to be citizens of Spain in perpetuity. The Spanish government has refused to recognize us as belonging to Spain, in direct violation of the Primo de Rivera law of 1924. This law declared that all Sephardic Jews were Spanish citizens without ever having to set foot in Spain.Therefore, our ancestors who were alive in 1924 became Spanish citizens and passed that right on to us. Our ancestors were forced to leave Spain in the 1400's and many have not been back since. The Spanish government has apologized for the expulsion by Ferdinand and Isabella but has not attempted to restore Spanish citizenship to us. We are therefore taking it upon ourselves to right the wrong that was done so many years ago by rightfully declaring what is ours.
