We Support Sheriff McGee

As residents of the United States of America, we join with the residents of Forrest County and the friends of Forrest County, Mississippi to petition the US Government to cease all actions against Sheriff Billy McGee regarding actions he took during the hurricane Katrina crisis last year.

Below is copied part of the local Forrest County petition that outlines the sentiments of the local community Sheriff McGee serves. By signing this online petition we show our support for someone who took necessary action while others, who SHOULD have done so, did not and our support for the community he served so well during a very trying time.

"We the residents of Forrest County and the friends of Forrest County stand behind Sheriff Billy McGee now in his time of need. ... The tough decisions he made during Hurricane Katrina saved the lives of Forrest County residents as well as residents of the surrounding area. These signatures represent our support and thanks for the decisions he made."
