We, the undersigned, are appalled at the continuing eyesore created by the derelict site of the former Greenhills Shopping Arcade on St James' Road, Greenhills, Dublin 12. We express our disgust with the lack of appropriate development at the site despite the granting of planning permission. We believe the developer has continually let local people down. We demand appropriate development of this site now, and call on the Council to compulsorily purchase the site in the interests of our local community if building has not begun before September 30th, 2008.
