Inauguration Day Off

To:  Dr. Jerry Weast

MCPS students should have inauguration day, January 20, 2009 off from school. This event will be a once in a lifetime opportunity. We can see history in the making and, being so close to D.C., there is no reason that we should not be able to go to the inauguration. At the very least, we should not have exams on this day. By giving us January 20 off, we will be able to experience history and watch history come alive.
