Dear Sirs and Madames at Konami,

Although you may be tempted to do so, and we you may be seriously considering it, we, the Undersigned, ask you to not start production on another "Metal Gear" title. We understand that it is good for business; what we want, however, is something different in a different, even possibly new, franchise from the brilliant mind of Mr. Hideo Kojima.

The Undersigned love the "Metal Gear" games - they mean a lot to us, and to a lot of us they've marked how we've grown and changed through the years. But there can be too much of a good thing, and people will eventually stop buying the game. Some people already have. This can not be a good thing, not with swelling development and marketing costs.

We would like to point-out that the Undersigned do not buy "Metal Gear" games just because of the franchise. In fact, very little of us do. Most of us love the team - and the director - behind the title: Kojima Productions and Hideo Kojima, and we would happily buy any quality video game they would make.

With MGS5 you will ruin a franchise, and it is time to let "Metal Gear" go. Kojima Productions and Hideo Kojima have earned the fanbase that will guarantee their games to be smash hits, and so we ask for them to be allowed to create said games.
