Our group of committed, dedicated, and persistent students at the Georgia Institute of Technology is on a journey to create equal treatment for faculty, staff, and students at Georgia Tech, as well as to create an open dialogue with administration in regards to commitment to diversity. Our goals are as such: To create three positions within the admissions office for minority recruitment based on ethnicity, to allocate adequate funding for the initiatives, to provide the opportunity for Keith Jordan, the former Senior Assistant Director of Admissions & Minority Recruitment at Georgia Tech, to take his job back, to ensure that black staff are respected, and most of all, to raise awareness of minority and underrepresented persons employed at or enrolled in the Georgia Institute of Technology.
