We, the undersigned, would like motorway lane discipline and driving etiquette to be emphasised to all drivers, and for it to be adhered to at all times by all drivers.
Instances of poor lane discipline include lane hogging and blocking, including the use of the middle lane (Lane 2) when the inside lane (Lane 1) is clear, or sticking to the outside lane (Lane 3) when the other lanes are clear.
The UK Highway Code advises that you should stay in the left-most lane unless overtaking other vehicles, and that after overtaking, this lane should be returned to.
