megan's law vs. age of consent

This is a petition to amend the Megan's law. Everyday more and more people are forced to sign for the Megan's law and their only crime was that they didn't wait, I'm talking about the age of concent. I feel that all though a person breaks the law by having intercourse with an under age person they should create a better punishment to fit the crime. If it was a consentual act but the other party involded was under age why should we make them pay for it for the rest of their lives? The punishment should fit the crime and a age of concent concentual sex act isn't as unlawful as rap or murder, but yet we let murders do there time and get out clean and clear but we make age of concent cases sign the megan's law and they have to be on parole supervision for life. Do you think that's fair? If not than sign this petition to amend the law to make the punishment fit the crime.
