Westlife World Tour For the World

This is a petition to bring Westlife to the United States of America, Mexico, South Africa, Australia and New Zealand. They have toured these countries previously at the onset of their careers.

Westlife have an enormous following throughout the world. In countries such as these information is not as readily available as it may be in countries such as the United Kingdom, Ireland and Asian countries, where obviously they have a huge fan base. In those countries they are interviewed regularly on television and by the press, they appear live on television singing their latest releases, whereas we in the abovementioned countries receive the information after the event. We do not as a rule get CDUK, or Smash Hits, or the Lottery performances, and have to search to find live recordings of the bands.

We have also found it difficult to get release dates for the new singles, CD's, DVD's and so forth despite approaching the various sources directly. This is frustrating and confusing because we as fans and supporters of Westlife also would like access to the latest news and reviews. Presently we rely on feedback from other Westlife fans worldwide to keep us updated and as a result many thousands of Westlife fans (we like to call ourselves deprived) spend hours and hours on the internet promoting the band, searching for all things Westlife, and doing our utmost best to keep them at number one where we believe they should be.

It is difficult without having access to the latest releases. If they become number one in the UK, that's excellent. But together we can make them number one in the United States, Mexico, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa and anywhere else in the world where they are extremely popular. After all they are performing artists. They should be where there is a demand, and there certainly is a huge market from them, as yet untouched, in these countries.

We believe that another world tour should be planned for the very near future. It can only benefit the band and the fans as well. Their concerts in these countries have been sell-outs and only added to the Westlife flame. We want to keep them at the top and need BMG to help us to achieve this.
