Re-instate Mookie Wilson to The New Country 95.3

This petition is in response to Mookie Wilson's unexpected and sudden departure from The New Country 95.3 Morning Show.

We the undersigned, all loyal fans and listeners of Country 95.3 for many years, submit this petition to re-instate Mookie Wilson back to The New Country 95.3 Morning Show.

We realize that you have recently been inundated with a multitude of correspondence requesting the reasoning behind this unfortunate incident and we have all received the standard corporate response and are deeply upset that your organization does not respect how their listeners have been affected by this unfortunate situation. We feel this to be truly distasteful.

To retain your listeners in the face of this decision, do you not believe it an absolute necessity to have put something together in writing to inform your loyal listeners, so as to retain, encourage, and promote your listeners to continue to tune in to 95.3 on a daily basis?.

Instead, we come to find a job posting for a ‘Morning Show Announcer’ on the Corus Entertainment website (Job Posting).

In this job posting you state that you are looking for an ‘Outstanding AMBASSADOR for Country 95.3 and Country Music’. Mookie Wilson is the EPITOME of Ambassador. Through the countless number of charity, local and community events he attends and participates in to the public appearances/remotes representing the radio station. He has done nothing but live and breathe country music and Country 95.3 during his tenure.

Due to the lack of respect and a satisfactory response, many of your listeners have opted to tune out The New Country 95.3 and tune into different radio stations until Mookie Wilson is re-instated to The New Country 95.3 Morning Show.

Again, we the undersigned, sign this petition to have Mookie Wilson re-instated to The New Country 95.3 Morning Show.
