To the leaders of all nuclear armed nations on Earth, we, the undersigned do implore you to use your nuclear weapons to save the astronomical community from Light Polluted Skies. Light Pollution comes from Street and any man made light, but the one source of light pollution that is ot man made, and needs to be destroyed: The Moon.
The Moon is a hinderance to all astronomers quest for knoqledge, especially knowledge of such objects classified as "Deep Sky".
Therefore, we the undersigned, reuqest the nuclear armed nations of the world, declared and undeclared, to launch a nuclear strike with the goal of destroying the moon. If necessary we request Bruce Willis be sen with a team to drill into the moon, deploy nukes, and detonate thm to eradicate the moon. for the good of Science, we implore you.
