McOwen v. The State of Georgia |
To: The State of GeorgiaIn the defense of David McOwen, former employee to the school districts of the State of Georgia, this petition is to help stop an unreasonable, unorthodox charge. The State of Georgia has charged Mr. McOwen with a felony, with up to 15 years prison and $415,000 damages for the personal use of school computers and its network. The use specifically was a client software named Distributed RC5 (information can found at http://www.distributed.net). After Mr. McOwen's use of this client software on school computers, the State of Georgia conducted an investigation and calculated an exorbitant amount of damages rendered. Never before in the history of the USA has such a charge been made towards an individual for something such as this. This is your chance to make sure it is the last!
Please help stop this unbelieveable charge against Mr. McOwen, his life and his family are depending on your support.Sincerely,
