The people who have signed the petition below would like the Mozilla foundation to continue development of the Mozilla web browser package.
Mozilla continues to be a good package. Everything you would ever need for your basic web surfing, emailing and chatting needs is included in the one package. All these features are easily accessible, making the program a pleasure to use.
The FireFox/Thunderbird project has moved to break these into separate projects, which detracts from the accessibility and ease of use of Mozilla. Furthermore, the basic look and feel of FireFox/Thunderbird requires further development as the package comes across as something that has been excessively stripped down, requiring further enhancements to make the browser as functional as Mozilla.
We would like to see Mozilla continuing as a project at least until such time that FireFox has had enough development to become a mature project.
