Give Mystery Science Theater 3000: The Movie a Special Edition

To:  Universal, or whoever holds the video rights to the MST3K movie

As an avid fan of the long-lived TV show MST3K, I am shocked and angry that Mystery Science Theater 3000: The Movie has no Special Edition. It is based on what is arguably one of the best TV shows in the last 20 years and it is as equally loved as the show, and there is no avaliable DVD. Huh? I am sure you agree that there is some problem here. What I mean is, there is a large demand for this film, and the DVD (and VHS) has been out of print for a while, and the prices for a used copy are around $75. Not every one of us MSTies want to pay that much money for a barebones disc, in fact, I doubt more than 1% of us are willing.

What we want is a nice, reasonably priced special edition with deleted material. Please Universal. The demand is there. You got the material to make it (or are able to make the material). Release a proper version and it will sell very well.

Disc 1:
-The movie with alternative ending and deleted scenes as an option to be added back in (seamless branching) or out.
-DTS 5.1
-Dolby Digital 5.1
-Anamorphic Widescreen 1.85:1
-Dual-layer

Disc 2:
-Theatrical Trailers (if any)
-Making-of Featurette
-"This Is MST3K" 1992 TV documentary
-"MST3K Little Gold Statue Preview Special" 1995 TV special
-Interview with writers
-"1st Annual Mystery Science Theater 3000 Summer Blockbuster Review" 1997 TV short
-Posters & stills
-Blooper Reel
-"The History on Mystery Science Theater 3000": the backstory on MST3K

Disc 3:
-"This Island Earth": Complete untouched film.
-Whatever is the original aspect ratio (if letterbox, give it anamorphic treatment).
-Dolby Digital 1.0 Mono
-Dual-layer
