Mariah Carey - Artista del Mes en MTV España - Artist Of The Month on MTV

Every year, an artist is picked by MTV Spain to be selected as "The Artist Of The Month". Since MTV Spain was launched 4 years ago, Mariah Carey has never been selected as artist of the month!!! This is incredible! How an important, former and completed artist as Mariah Carey has never been selected? It is unfair as there are international and national artists who have been selected as "Artist Of The Month" even twice! We can not allow this. Moreover, being artist of month in one of the most important music channels as MTV means "promotion" for the artist.It is also a good chance for the fans and non-fans to watch special programs and get to know the artist better. So with this petition, people are supporting the fact that MTV Spain should consider the fact of selecting Mariah Carey as artist of the month within the upcoming months and for the release of Mariah's upcoming album "The Emancipation of Mimi".


Hace cuatro años, uno de los canales musicales más importantes como la MTV lanzó este canal de música en España. Cada año se elige a un cantante como "Artista Del Mes" y, desde que se inauguró el canal, Mariah Carey nunca ha sido artista del mes. Es increíble cómo una artista tan importante y completa como Mariah, que lleva tantos años en la música y ha cosechado grandes e importante éxitos hasta la fecha, no ha tenido un espacio durante un mes en la MTV. Esto es injusto ya que hay artistas, tanto nacionales como internacionales, que han incluso repetido dos veces(y, obviamente, con bastantes menos méritos que Mariah Carey)¡No podemos permitir esto! Además, ser artista del mes en un canal tan importante como la MTV significa "promoción" para el artista, sin duda, sería una buena ocasión para que los fans y el público en general pueda ver especiales y llegar a concer más al artista. Así que con esta petición, apoyamos que MTV España debería considerar el hecho de dedicarle un mes a Mariah como "Artista Del Mes" en los próximos meses, y coincidiendo con la promoción de su próximo album "The Emancipation of Mimi".
