Support Livermore Music Education

If you agree with the statement below, please show your support for music education by signing this petition. In doing so, you agree that Livermore schools should have a comprehensive K-12 music education program.

"Music is all about the structural connections that are used to support memory. It's much easier to remember something that follows a familiar structure or pattern than something random and unfamiliar. These familiar structures serve as the foundation for building greater knowledge and even stronger and more extensive neural networks that support learning of all kinds. I propose that we really don't have a choice. We must fund music."

We the undersigned would like to communicate to the LVJUSD Board of Education and the LVJUSD management team that we feel our music education programs are an important part of our children’s education. We ask that you continue to fund and support music education at every school in the district.
