Support the petition...change the world! Millions of fans celebrate their teams at World Cup tournaments and the like - why can't we, the inhabitants of Gibraltar?

Roughly two years ago, the matter was discussed and subsequently dismissed under pressure from Spain, who have let politics overrule the sport. This is absolutely unfair and not at all the spirit that has made football the number one passtime, recreation and cause for so many people.

Therefore our appeal:

Dear governments of Spain and Great Britain,
dear UEFA,
dear FIFA,

please give the people of Gibraltar a chance of getting a taste of world football feeling. Please accept and acknowledge Gibraltar as full-member of UEFA and FIFA, therefore being able to qualify for EURO and World Cups. This is not politics, THIS IS FOOTBALL!
