The Call of Duty franchise already appeared on the Wii twice. One with Call of Duty 3,and the other with Call of Duty:World at War,both developed by Treyarch.
As you should know, both were well received on the console, with more than 1 million units sold each.Even lacking a good part of the content from the other versions, they were both decent games that pleased the core audience. And as both brought a good profit to Activision (now Activision Blizzard),Wii users thought a Modern Warfare 2 developed by Infinity Ward would be guaranteed.
However, the game was announced, and there wasn't even the mention of a possible Wii version,or any explanation for the lack of one.
Needless to say,the fans on the Wii are very frustrated for Infinity Ward ignoring them, even if they had proved their interest with the purchase of previous games.
A Wii version would sell at least more than a million units, like the previous games. If it included all the contet from the other versions,it surely could sell as well as the PS3 version, with a much smaller development cost.
So,if it would be profitable, satisfy the COD Wii fanbase and make Activision be more respected by the users, what would be the reason not to make it?

We want to play Modern Warfare 2 without the need to buy another console.
