Halal Nandos in Nottingham

The restaurant chain of Nandos has become universally recognised for its outstanding service and dedication to providing the most delicious flame-grilled peri-peri chicken.

Despite the increasing popularity of Nandos throughout the UK however, the Muslim community of Nottingham has been and continues to be deprived of the services that Nando's provides.

Nandos mission statement (listed on the website) states that Nandos wants every restaurant to reflect the local characteristics of each area. As you will be aware, Nottingham has a significant and vibrant Muslim community, especially during the academic term, when Nottingham becomes home to thousands of students from every country, including many Muslim countries. Despite this though, Nandos has failed to serve Halal chicken in any of its three outlets in Nottingham.

We believe that having access to Halal Nandos peri-peri chicken should be available for all Muslims to enjoy and cherish in Nottingham, who currently have to travel to other cities to experience this pleasure.

We the undersigned therefore heartily request that Halal chicken be served in at least one Nandos restaurant in Nottingham, in accordance with the standards of the Halal Food Authority.
