We, the undersigned, call upon the Canadian Soccer Association to select Moncton, New Brunswick as the host city for an international match featuring the men's national team during the year 2011.

Below are some of the reasons for our support of this initiative:

- We believe Stade Moncton 2010 Stadium -- with its natural grass surface and potential capacity of 20,000 people -- is a suitable venue for a men's national team match;

- We believe that the people of Moncton -- combined with Canadian fans visiting from elsewhere -- would sell out the stadium (at its expanded capacity) and work to create a vocal, exciting, pro-Canadian atmosphere,

- Furthermore, we believe that a stadium predominantly full of pro-Canadian fans would create not only an atmosphere conducive to on-field success, but also a television product that could help boost the profile of the men's national team across the country.

This initiative is not meant to cast doubts upon the ability of any other city to properly host a men's national team game.

We do, however, believe that Moncton should be given the chance to demonstrate its ability to host a men's national team match, at the earliest possible opportunity.
