Negation of "Renewed artistic direction"

This petition is made as a way to express the support of us, the people who sign the petition (and not the entire Diablo fan base, as we cannot speak in the name of everyone), towards the artistic direction of Diablo 3.



But, to be completely honest, this petition has been created for the sole purpose to prove to the creator and those who have signed THIS ( http://www.petitiononline.com/d3art/petition.html )petition that in fact there is a large number of people that support the "new artistic direction" that D3 is taking. If in fact there is one.





The petition referred to earlier stated the following:

"we seriously want some changes in the artistic direction of the game so it could be more coherent and familiar with the Diablo universe. "



I'd like to state first that the Diablo universe was and is firstly defined by it's story and action-oriented combat. The visuals, while they do play a role, in a age where technology is constantly renewing and improving, come a distant third.

Secondly, the Diablo universe is defined by the Diablo games. A Diablo game, coming from the same company cannot stray from the universe, as it IS the universe. If you wanted Diablo 2 all over again, then I propose you play Diablo 2.



Signing this petition means that you do not agree to the renewed artistic direction ( http://www.petitiononline.com/d3art/petition.html ) petition.
