We, as parents, educators and members of the community, are
petitioning New Haven Unified School District Board of Education to
recognize the importance of Classroom Size Reduction in Kindergarten
through 3rd grade. We support the continued excellence from our
dedicated educational staff and seek to keep our classroom size at a
manageable number in the best interest of our children.

While we acknowledge the current financial crisis means our district
must make cuts, we believe that putting the future of our students at
risk is not the solution. Please keep classroom sizes small. Before
spending any money reopening Bernard White Middle School, we implore
you to work together and find a solution to keep Class Size Reduction,
and keep our wonderful teachers in the classroom.
