Boycott the MTV Movie Awards

In response to MTV choosing to censor Nine Inch Nails planned performance of their song "The Hand That Feeds" in front of a picture of George Bush the group chose not to perform and forfeited great deals of revenue for their principles. In an age of rampant materialism it is praiseworthy to see an artist put their money where their mouth is. As smart consumers I feel we should support their stand against censorship by boycotting the MTV Movie Awards where the band was scheduled to perform. Signing this petition does not imply agreement with this band's political views but is simply an expression of the belief that MTV censoring their right to clean tasteful political speech is disgraceful.
