Casey Blake, of the sub-.700 OPS since the All Star break in '07, is a waste of at bats that could go towards developing Andy Marte. Marte couldn't be any worse than Blake's .216/.303/.364 line, and could be significantly better. Eric Wedge should immediately bench Blake, or, at the very least, make him part of the outfield platoon, and absolutely stop batting him in the 2 hole.
