I have something to say about all the copyright infringement issues and guitar tab sites such as mxtabs.net.
I think that what you're doing is really unjust. People are trying to learn how to play an instrument, and they need these kind of things to help them along. Personally, I don't have enough money to go out and buy official sheet music books, and they don't even have the ones I want. I don't listen to mainstream artists that sell all those records and have sold out. I listen to a lot of underground bands and bands that don't make sheet music books as well. I also listen to bands that have broken up and you can no long find sheet music for.
What I'm trying to say here is that it's an integral part of music development to have tab sites like mxtabs.net. That's how I came to learn guitar, classical guitar, and bass guitar, it helped me a lot and in about a year I was at my peak performance. Then you started shutting down sites like mxtabs.net and my education has gone downhill since. I am in a guitar ensemble, but they're not going to teach me the things I need in a band setting. All they're going to teach me is classical guitar which gets you no where in the regular music world today.
I also plan on boycotting all paid musical services. You will not see buying CDs (I'll go without music like that, I'll listen to the radio because I won't download either), you won't see met at any concerts, and you certainly won't see me buying sheet music.
Hopefully, you listen to my plea and it hits someone's ears who could do something about it.
