Stop S.H.A.D.E.

Well, it looks like SHADE has found out about this petition. And have taken the time to post a comment in regards to this petition, comparing themselves to Star Trek fans who dress up for Trek conventions. All that I have to say about this is that there is nothing wrong with dressing up like your favorite television characters, but Star Trek fans never tried to affect the outcome of the show; unlike the members of SHADE who are trying to effect the outcome of the game. To:  S.H.A.D.E.

We the undersigned ask that the members of S.H.A.D.E. stop all anti-Lost Experience Alternate Reality Game activities. Although we may or may not agree with it, we understand that what they are doing is only meant in fun. However, no matter how innocuous, we cannot condone participation in a spam e-mail campaign. Your activities are malicious, and are a bad reflection of ARG gamers in general.

As in life, there are always those whose overzealous activities ruin things for the rest of us. We all agree that there are aspects about the Lost Experience ARG that we dislike, and would like to see improved. However, the means in which the members of S.H.A.D.E. are using to express their discontent is not only counterproductive, but could lead the game administrators to not produce any future Lost related games.

To the members of S.H.A.D.E., we say that you’ve had your fun, not please stop what you are doing before you ruin it for the rest of us.
