Stop Illegal Disarmament Treaty |
To: U.S. SenateWe demand that the Senate of the United States of America prohibit the enactment of the agreement, made between the United States' President Barack Hussein Obama and Dmitry Medvedev on July 6, 2009, regarding nuclear disarmament. This agreement, being between two nations, is a treaty, and is not valid under the constitution of the United States of America, as it has not been ratified by two thirds of the Senate.
Further, we insist that there is no valid treaty made by the United States except under due process of the law as required by Article II, Section 2, Clause 2 of the United States Constitution:
"[The President] shall have Power, by and with the Advice and Consent of the Senate, to make Treaties, provided two thirds of the Senators present concur... ."Sincerely,
