MANNY IDOL! NOT POLITICS PLEASE!

Please Manny, we implore you not to run for any political position. You already did before and you lost. DON'T LISTEN TO THE FEW who claim that you've been cheated. They're probably the same bunch of people who say you should consider running for President. If you listen to these close-minded few, it's like saying that you do not trust the intellect and wisdom of our countrymen. You didn't win the last election because the Filipinos know what you are good at, and politics is definitely not in the list.

Sports is what you specialize in so focus your efforts in this field once you've decide to retire from boxing. And, if during your retirement you still want to serve your country as a politician, then go to school and take up a course on Public Administration or any course that will help you in the political field you wish to dabble in. Do not be like the traditional politicians who depend on others to do their job. This is one of the root causes of corruption.

Here is a suggested 5-year plan upon retirement.

YEAR 1 - Establish Manny Pacquiao Sports Centers (MPSC) nationwide that cater not only to boxing, but all kinds of sports that the Filipino can have a global edge - like why basketball when we could be better at soccer? Also, ink a partnership deal with the Philippine Sports Commission.

YEAR 2-4 - Oversee the successful management of these MPSCs and the indicators would be:
effective program implementation, athlete recruitment, and financial administration. (If you still plan to run for a political position, this is the period where you can study on the side and take up courses in line with government service.)

YEAR 5 - Prepare our Filipino athletes for OLYMPICS 2016! Yes!

Manny, it is better to serve our country in an area that we are good at. Sports is your field of expertise. Winning all boxing competitions is not the end of your career. Retirement from boxing doesn't mean retiring from the field. Sharing your knowledge and teaching the youth is your next step. This will be your legacy.

Please Manny you are our Pinoy sports hero. We want to save you from heartaches and shame. We don't want your name to be dragged into the gutters of Philippine politics by your greedy cohorts who are probably just after the pork barrel.

PRAY FOR TRUE DISCERNMENT MANNY. Seek counsel and spiritual advise. We will also pray for you Manny. We will pray for the Lord to enlighten you on how to continue your blessed destiny.
