I, the undersigned, believe that the development of a missile defence system is a major threat to international stability and security. I believe it supports the US goal of military dominance, is already provoking a new nuclear arms race, will lead to the development of space as a war-fighting medium and makes states involved an increased target to aggressors.

I call upon the UK government, in co-operation with other European governments, to have no part in supporting a missile defence system and to concentrate instead on developing diplomatic and peaceful multi-lateral solutions to conflict.
