Bring back the NPG Music Club ticket benefits!

This petition relates to the former New Power Generation Music Club (NPGMC) that existed from 2001 to 2006. The greatest benefit that your club offered was ticket pre-sales for your concerts. In light of your recent surge in popularity (due to your fabulous SuperBowl performance!), demand for your concert tickets has heightened.

The Citibank AAdvantage cardholder-only show in San Francisco on May 19, 2007 is the latest example of why the NPGMC concert benefits are needed. This concert is not open to the majority of your long-time fans, and to add insult to injury, the Ticketmaster system has resulted in scalpers getting a hold of tickets and jacking prices as high as several thousand dollars for a single seat. The large majority of your fans cannot afford these inflated ticket prices, nor do we believe we should be forced to pay them.

We,The Undersigned, respectfully request that you reinstate concert ticket pre-sales for your former (and new) NPGMC members. Prince, I hope these signatures show the love and unflinching desire we have to see you in concert…without draining our bank accounts.
