Hello my name is Coleen Attanasio, I live in Pahrump,NV. The school in my town is named Rosemary Clarke Middle School and I have a problem with something that my children have to endure. Five times a week my 14 year old daughter has to wake up at 5 in the morning to get ready and get off to the bus stop at 6. For over half the school year 6 o'clock in the morning is still very dark. There are several mountain lion sighting a month in our town and it is not safe for her or any other child to walk at night down the road. She has to walk, ALONE, down a dark,lonely street to her bus stop on the side of the road, this is not the worst part. The temperature outside is 36F-46F through the year not to mention the wind adds the felling of anothing ten degrees lower. In the temps. it is seriously PAINFUL! I have felt it myself. It is not fair that our children should have take this anymore. When I first moved here I heard that the town modow was "We put our kids first", I have not seen this. If you would like to help me change the time the school day starts please join the cause. Thank You
