We the undersigned NYU alumni stand in Solidarity with the Take Back NYU Coalition, and their demands for full disclosure of NYU's investments. This important step is a critical for building meaningful transparency and democracy in the University community, and has been an ongoing demand of NYU students for nearly a decade. The occupation of the Kimmel Center for Student Life is a reflection of the seriousness of this issue and its important not only to students, but to the entire university community, past and present. We call on you to live up to our collective ideal of operating as a private university in the public interest, and quickly resolve this matter by opening NYU's investments to public and donor scrutiny.
