Many of us had much anticipation for the upcoming PC release of "Star Wars: Episode I Obi-Wan". A lot of us being big fans of Star Wars games, having played many of your previous great titles; Jedi Knight, X-Wing and TIE Fighter are to name a few. Obi-Wan seemed like the Episode I game to shine, being a big fan of "Jedi Knight", for a year, I personally was very excited about this release. I felt that most of the games based on the movie license "The Phantom Menace" hadn't done justice for the company that had previously developed so many classics, still my faith in Obi-Wan remained.

The cancellation of this project for the PC platform has been a shock to us all. We have been led on and kept interested by an endless stream of previews and screenshots for the past year now, which have maintained our enthusiasm and support for the project. Many of us enjoy playing your games online, at present console games lack real multiplayer support. They also lack the depth and interaction of PC games. We all believe that this cancellation was a poorly made decision and we desperately urge you to reconsider.

We, as potential buyers of Obi-Wan would like to know the reasons behind this decision to not release the game for PC. We have been waiting for a new Star Wars action game for over two years now and will not content with a simple ad like the one you posted in your site. We feel that the decision to switch this game to a console, is abandoning the more sophisticated action gamers.

We want to remember LucasArts for their quality in computer game development, not for their disloyalty to their fans. Thank you for listening.
