A great little bulletin is in circulation on MySpace.com about lowering gas prices, by not buying gas from Exxon/Mobile gas stations.

After all, Exxon/Mobile are the people that just recently retired their triple chinned CEO Lee Raymond with a retirement package that amounts to over FOUR HUNDRED MILLION dollars of the money we all have been putting into their corporations pockets, by buying their over priced refined swill.

We know people need to buy gasoline to get to work. We can petition, and protest, and still get the gas we need to get to work. The "Don't buy gas on a particular day!" ideas don't work because people NEED gas. As a result the oil companies laugh at us all the way to the bank when that form of protest is tried.

This online petition wants to take the idea of protest one step further, by getting a commitment from you, the undersigned, not to buy Exxon/Mobile Gasoline until the price comes down to an acceptable amount that we the purchasing public will are willing to pay. We hope to in affect get a "refund" of this oil monarch's pension by doing so.

If enough people STOP buying Exxon/Mobile gas, then they will have to lower their price to stay afloat in the oil business. If they have to lower their price, then the THREE other oil monopolies will have to follow suit and lower theirs. (Only FOUR Major oil companies dominate the market here in the USA. There is no fair competition.)

They collude with one another constantly in raising prices. So let us, the purchasing public, collude in lowering the price by not buying.

They LIE to us every day and tell us it is “World supply and demand” raising the price, and then report record profits and retire fat CEO’s with 400 MILLION DOLLAR PENSIONS!


We are the buyers, and we can not let the sellers dictate a price to us any longer. This madness is affecting people’s lives. Do you want to be in the position to have to decide on buying food, or gas to get to work? MANY families are already in that position.


So, by signing this lets make a contract with one another, here in public, not to buy from Exxon Mobile. Please sign this petition right here and now, for the world to see that states we WILL NOT BUY GAS FROM EXXON MOBILE. We will not buy from them again until these oil companies refund the unacceptable and transparently greedy pensions to the American people by lowering their prices to a reasonable rate of oh; let’s say $1.50 a gallon.

We can affect our lives for the better, by sticking together, and being honest and honorable to one another by keeping our words to support this effort. Let’s come together and HELP ONE ANOTHER.

I the undersigned will not buy my gasoline from Exxon Mobile UNTIL Exxon/Mobile refunds the American driving public in the amount of AT LEAST Four Hundred Million Dollars, by lowering their prices to a more reasonable amount. $1.50 sounds like a reasonable rate. Until I see $1.50 a gallon for regular at Exxon and Mobile gas station pumps I will not buy from either of these gas stations again even if it means I run out of gas on the road.

Once we reach the goal of 50,000 signatures, a copy of this will be forwarded to the current CEO of Exxon/Mobile.

Making this commitment a contract of honor to one another here, can affect real change in the greed of the oil business.
