Do Not Abandon Children Orphaned by AIDS!!!

I, the undersigned, find it COMPLETELY UNACCEPTABLE to spend more RESOURCES on bombs than RESOLVING the crisis faced by an estimated TWENTY-FIVE MILLION CHILDREN who will be orphaned as a result of the AIDS crisis.





It is COMPLETELY UNACCEPTABLE to not even have a head count of the children orphaned by AIDS, after BILLIONS have been distributed through faith based missions and other organizations who largely administer "abstinence”.





It is COMPLETELY UNACCEPTABLE that HIV+ children are abandoned even by their peers as they are prevented from attending school.





I, the undersigned, demand support for programs that empower these children and people who adopt them.





As a citizen of the country that consumes 25% of the world's resources while only being 5% of it's population, I demand that THE RESOURCES REQUIRED to affect this crisis be brought to bear as I believe it is our MORAL OBLIGATION and OPPORTUNITY TO SHOW GRATITUDE FOR OUR GIFTS
