No Lucas. No Season 7 One Tree Hill

Dear The CW Network.

We as Tree Hill fans have stayed loyal to our show for six years. We’ve followed their lives, watching as they blossomed from awkward adolescent to young adults trying to find their way.

We are all aware that the network may renew the series for a seventh season. However, we as fans do not want to move into yet another season without the main character we all love the most; Lucas Scott. The blonde haired, blued eyed soul has captured our hearts and is a staple to the success of this show. His character implicates the lives of everyone else on the show. He serves as a lover, a soon to be father, an uncle and a much needed friend.

If Chad Michael Murray wants to move on from the show, then we wish him all the best. But as loyal fans, we want to see the show end on a high note, with the core five characters involved (Lucas, Peyton, Brooke, Haley and Nathan). Therefore, we ask that you do not pick up a seventh season of One Tree Hill and give us all the ending we truly deserve at the end of season 6. We are happy with the run we have been given, and would like not only our journey, but the cast and crew’s to end on a positive note.
