以下簽名運動由一群香港大學學生會前任幹事、評議會成員及畢業生發起，我們歡迎任何支持罷免２００９年度香港大學學生會會長陳一諤的人士，包括香港大學師生、校友，以及各界人士一起參與此活動。

港大同學　拿出良知來　趕陳一諤下台！

今年是六四屠城事件二十周年，在此前夕，香港大學學生會應屆會長陳一諤發表有關中共八九年六四屠城事件連番言論。對於他以港大學生會會長的身份淡化事件以及迴避中共領導的責任、並在事後以表達自由為藉口，拒絕為其言論道歉，我們對此深表激憤及痛心。

陳一諤把中共當年血腥鎮壓學生運動造成無數死傷的殘暴行為，輕描淡寫形容為「有些問題」，並形容當年學運領袖為「走佬學生領袖」。這種言論，是對死難者、被囚者、以及他們家屬的一種侮辱──這些言論就如當年的坦克車一樣，再次踐踏六四受害者及其家屬的心靈。

陳一諤假借言論自由之名歪曲歷史。二十年前，無數與陳一諤年紀相若的大學生為了表達對民主、公義與真理的追求，無辜的犧牲了性命，一個一個年青人、一個一個中國人，他們的言論權利甚至生存的權利都被中共扼殺了！

作為有良知的香港人，我們對陳一諤的言論感到作嘔；作為香港大學學生的學長，我們對於香港大學的同學選出了這樣的代表感到痛心！我們無法批斷陳一諤究竟是對歷史無知，還是要向當權者獻媚，但我們肯定陳一諤的言論反映他毫無分辨是非黑白的能力，明顯無法勝任港大學生會會長一職。

各位港大同學，請拿出你們的良知，把陳一諤趕下台！

This campaign is organized by a group of ex-exco of Hong Kong University Students’ Union(HKUSU), ex-members of the HKUSU council and graduates of HKU. We welcome you to join this “oust Ayo Chan Yi-ngok” campaign.

Vote with your conscience, our fellow HKU students, and oust Ayo Chan Yi-ngok!

Ayo Chan Yi-ngok described the bloody suppression which led to numerous deaths and injuries as merely “problematic”, and called the then student leaders as “runaway student leaders”. Such remarks present an insult to the ones who were killed, injured, imprisoned, as well as their families. Like the tanks that ran over the bodies of many young lives 20 years ago, his comments have crushed the hearts of many victims and family members today.

Using freedom of speech as his pretext, Chan has distorted history. Twenty years ago, a group of innocent university students around the same age as Chan today, sacrificed their lives to express their pursuit of truth, justice and democracy. Numerous young lives were brutally destroyed by the Chinese Communist Party, their rights to speak and live taken away forever.

As conscientious members of the Hong Kong community, we are sickened by Chan’s remarks. As alumni of HKU, we are hurt by this elected student representative. We cannot judge if Chan simply lacks knowledge in history, or if he is trying to flatter the ones in power, but we are certain that his comments reflect his inability to tell black from white and his incompetence as the president of the student union.

Vote with your conscience, our fellow HKU students, and oust Ayo Chan Yi-ngok!
