Owen Hart WWE Champion

This is a petition to have World Wrestling Entertainment (formerly World Wrestling Federation) recognize Owen Hart as a former WWE Champion. Owen Hart was shown to have won the World Title on August 17th, 1994 in a lumberjack match against his brother WWE Hall of Famer Bret "Hitman" Hart. The decision was reversed when the referee saw on the instant replay that Jim "The Anvil" Neidhart interfered on Owen's behalf. There is no Instant Replay rule that states the referee can reverse the decision of a match if he sees heel (in this case Owen) interference or cheating. If this was the case, heel wrestlers would never win professional wrestling matches. Had Owen's career not been cut short due to tragedy, he would have no doubt captured the World Title due to his superior athletic ability, technical skills, and charisma. This petition asks that Owen Hart be recognized for what he would have been recognized if he was alive today, a World Champion.
