The stigma against people with mental illnesses is aggravated by a general ignorance which leads us into fear that is not rational and not accurate.

We want to change this.

The purpose of this petition is to eliminate the uninformed stigmatization surrounding mental illness and the barriers it creates in the school setting, at home, within the healthcare system, and in the community. At the heart of the effort to transform the attitude towards mental health issues is the need for a change in thinking.
