The City Of Montreal Ignores Both Residential & Commercial Concerns on de la Commune

La ville de Montréal a l'intention d'éliminer tout stationnement sur la rue de la Commune et de créer deux couloirs pour autobus desservant un nouveau circuit continuel d'autobus.
The City of Montreal plans to remove all parking on de la Commune street and create reserved bus lanes on both sides with a new route of non-stop buses.

Ce changement aura un impact négatif majeur sur tous les résidents et les commerces du Vieux-Port, sans compter les gens des autres secteurs de Montréal qui veulent visiter et magasiner.
This will have a significant negative impact on all residents and commercial interests in the Vieux-Port, without taking into consideration people that want to visit or shop from other areas of Montreal.


Nous avons déjà accès aux autobus et au métro à quelques pas du Vieux-Montréal. La ville semble vouloir promouvoir ses politiques de festivals au détriment des gens qui vivent et travaillent ici. Le bruit et les vibrations seront augmentés le long des édifices qui sont à proximité de la rue. L'environnement s'en trouvera également plus pollué.We already have bus and metro access steps from the Vieux-Montreal. The City seems intent on facilitating its policies for festivals at the expense of the people who actually live and work here. This will increase noise and vibration along the buildings which have no setback and further pollute the environment.
