Condemn the Killing of Nasrat Parsa

We, the undersigned, are Afghans and friends of Afghanistan who strongly condemn the heinous killing of Nasrat Parsa, one of the most prolific Afghan pop stars.

- We strongly advocate that the despicable acts of “a few rotten apples” should not damage the reputation of the hospitable Afghans, especially Afghan communities living in Canada.

- We firmly encourage our youths and parents to foster greater understanding, unity and discipline in our respective communities.

- Together, we echo our commitment that we will do everything in our power to prevent such a tragedy in our respective communities in future.

Our deepest sympathies and condolences are with the family, friends and fans of the deceased.
