This petition has been created to bring your attention to the pious work of Steven John Wilkos.

We, the undersigned, call upon Pope Benedict and The Vatican to bestow a well-earned sainthood on one Steve Wilkos, Talk Show Host, former Marine, ex-Chicago police officer, Champion For Unfortunate People, father figure, friend, hero and all around great guy.

Threw his talk show called The Steve Wilkos Show, he has helped countless people threw their struggles in life and has been there on many occasions to give a helping hand to the homeless. He is a beacon of light and hope to many who have fallen on rough times, offering his hand to help straighten out their lives. He helps the downtrodden, the mistreated and the misunderstood better their lives and guides them down the right path. He also stands up to bullies, deadbeats, abusive boyfriends and other assorted types of losers in an attempt to set to scare them straight.

We understand that sainthood is usually conferred on the dead, but we hope Pope Benedict willing be will make an exception to the rule and honor this man while still alive. It's the least we can do for this man who has helped so many in life.
