Pro Evolution Soccer 5 Lan/Direct IP Support

We, your consumers, believe that Konami have made a grave misjudgement in the removal of LAN/Direct IP capabilities from the PC version of 'Pro Evolution Soccer 5' and write this petition to ask that this feature be re-instated as soon as possible, perhaps by way of a downloadable patch.

As a community, we can only speculate as to your reasoning behind this action, but a significant number believe it to be based on fears of copyright infringement - a fair and just concern. However, there is surely no reason why LAN/Direct IP capability can not be accessed only once a user's CD Key has been verified as authentic on Konami's servers.

The loss of LAN/Direct IP capabilities will be felt far and wide, you have many many thousands of consumers in countries where internet speeds are simply not up to the standard for online play and we wonder why we have been forgotten.

We have gained so much enjoyment from the PES series, it would be a shame to allow this small omission to make such a large impact on your ever-faithful community, we hope that you will reconsider your actions and restore the LAN/Direct IP feature.
