Lolita, formerly known as Tokitae, was violently extracted from her family back in 1970. She is the oldest living orca whale in captivity. Lolita has been performing, tirelessly, for over 35 years. And now it's time for her retirement. Her accommodations (a tank the size of a hotel swimming pool) are illegal in size, as well as dangerous! Go to miamiseaprison.com for more details. Her only companion is a blow-up, plastic, orca whale doll. Lolita's family lives in the Puget Sound area of Washington State. Her mother is believed to still be alive. And her family is monitored continuously. Each orca family has their own unique dialect and to this day Lolita still recognizes and vocalizes the dialect of her family. A language she has never forgotten. Knowing this, her release would have a successful outcome! During her capture in 1970, five whales died. Four of them were babies! Their bodies were sliced down the center and filled with rocks so that the evidence of this crime (and a criminal act it was!) would sink to the bottom of the ocean. Lolita's life has been one nightmare after another!! She definately deserves her peace! And a better quality of life. It is time to send Lolita home to her family, have a baby or two of her own, and live the rest of her life as a wild orca whale. The way Nature intended her to live!
