I am asking you, the people, the fans of the NBA to sign this petition to bring back the glory days of basketball entertainment on television which was the NBA on NBC. Everybody loves the broadcast, the catchy jingle, the atmosphere, and the greatest NBA introduction in history. the cold hard truth is that nobody likes ABC's broadcast. Instead of focusing on basketball the intro to ABC a while back was the Pussy Cat Dolls prancing around like whores. The ratings for ABC have been a record low (6.2 for the 2007 NBA Finals featuring the San Antonio Spurs and the Cleveland Cavaliers)and has lowered fan interest of ABC's poorly received choices in theme music and program content. NBC actually takes the NBA seriously, unlike ABC and The NBA died the moment it left NBC. If the NBA is concerned about its ratings, it has to get back together with NBC. I know this is a long shot, but it's worth the attempt. Bring the NBA back where it belongs, on NBC.

    • The NBA on NBC is the greatest sports telecast ever. I was a huge Jordan fan, but even during his retirement, I still watched the NBA because of NBC. The ESPN on ABC - or whatever it's called - is pathetic. I hardly watch basketball anymore because of it.

    • A big reason for the NBA's decline in popularity this decade is the loss of NBC. The NBA is now rebounding with the emergence of stars like Lebron, Wade, and new rivalries but just imagine how much more it could do if it was on NBC instead ABC..

    • NBA on ABC stinks! Bring it back to NBC! I loved the theme and the coverage of the NBA back then, but now it sucks on ABC/ESPN. And keep Roundball Rock as the theme song too.

    • I Love the NBA on NBC, because the NBA on ABC is boring not just of ESPN on ABC replaced ABC Sports but its boring on ABC. It that don't work it can return to CBS. P.S. I first the NBA when I kids and the first network the NBA was on NBC. Not CBS because I wasn't born yet until 1991.

    • PLEASE!!! Bring back the NBA on NBC!!! No other network has better intros, theme songs, and overall presentation for this wonderful thing that we call professional basketball. TNT is the closest thing we have, but the comparison to NBC is not even close. BRING BACK THE NBA ON NBC!!!!
