I am asking you, the people, the fans of the NBA to sign this petition to bring back the glory days of basketball entertainment on television which was the NBA on NBC. Everybody loves the broadcast, the catchy jingle, the atmosphere, and the greatest NBA introduction in history. the cold hard truth is that nobody likes ABC's broadcast. Instead of focusing on basketball the intro to ABC a while back was the Pussy Cat Dolls prancing around like whores. The ratings for ABC have been a record low (6.2 for the 2007 NBA Finals featuring the San Antonio Spurs and the Cleveland Cavaliers)and has lowered fan interest of ABC's poorly received choices in theme music and program content. NBC actually takes the NBA seriously, unlike ABC and The NBA died the moment it left NBC. If the NBA is concerned about its ratings, it has to get back together with NBC. I know this is a long shot, but it's worth the attempt. Bring the NBA back where it belongs, on NBC.

    • The NBA coverage on NBC was much better as well as the camera angles and you can't forget about the music. Marv Albert is great when it comes to finals coverage. Not only am I signing this petition but I will begin fasting to get my point across.

    • The theme music by itself is enough to want the NBA back on NBC. The commentating and analysis was much better. The product was real professional, from the analysts, the commentating, and the production. Plus the NBA on NBA has a better appeal to it.
