We, the customers of Motive Events' 420 Fest, demand a refund. The event was listed as all ages up until the day of the event. Motive Events either false advertised, knowing fully that the event would go to 18+ the day of. Or it was forced on them by an outside organization. Either way, the contract that was entered into by the people purchasing tickets, and Motive Selling those tickets, was broken and renders the contract obsolete. Meaning any wording in the contract is rendered obsolete, including "no refunds". Therefore, if Motive Events ever wants to have an event at another location that is all ages, they had better issue refunds.

    • this was seriously horrible..people were getting pepper sprayed and tear gased..people went out of there way to go to this event and even if you were 18 if you didnt have any form of id you were denied access.

    • this was rediculous i waited for 3 hours trying to get in waited in line more than 4 times every time i got to the front they said i had to wait i finally gave up waisted 50$ its not right and i relized motive events owner is just money hungry you knew this was going to be an 18+ event and told people that they would still get in if they had a ticket but i NEVER got in and neither did about 6 other people i knew along with all the other underage people there.

    • i had my ticket, and they kept turning me down. i find this really unfair that they would advertise it as all ages and people had bought their tickets in advance and they won't give refunds.

    • This was absolutely ridiculous, Motive Events needs to handle their advertising and party planning as well as partnership with the police more effectively, and in a timely order, not the day of the event. This was a complete set up, and Motive Events has really busted it on this one. People that already had their tickets and still aren't getting in? Advertising "All Responsible Ages" but it's REALLY 18+? Resorting to TEAR GAS and PEPPER SPRAY? What has this come down to just to get money, dirty thug methods? The stunts Motive pulled last night makes them no different than thugs and robbers. Motive's reputation has sunk to an all-new low.

    • i drove all the way there and it took me an hour, i would like them to pay for my gas as well....that was a total waste

    • Absolutely unfair and unjustifiable. Ticket was printed as 'All Ages'. If that information is void then so is 'No Refunds'. We all have every right to a refund. Major investigation with possible follow up law suit needs to take action.
