Dear Howard Lincoln and Chuck Armstrong,

The Seattle Mariners are now in year five of the Bavasi-era. The Mariners have not improved, even with the seventh highest payroll in baseball. It is time to make the move and fire Bill Bavasi.

Best,

Mariner Fans/Season Ticket Holders

    • Simply inexplicable: There is no better hitter to play DH anywhere in baseball than Jose Vidro? Either you are not paying attention or not trying. There has got to be 50 guys in AAA who can out hit him.

    • Bavasi has shown a complete lack of good judgement, and he has wasted the 7th highest payroll in baseball. He has overpayed for average (at best) free agents, and he has brought in mediocre (at best) talent to fill starting rolls. He has had more than enough time to show what he can do as a GM, and has shown me he does not have what it takes to build a winner. It is time for a change.

    • Since Bavasi took the reigns, the M's are dead last in the A.L. West for total # of wins @ 316. There are only 5 teams in MLB with worse records, only 2 of which are in the A.L. All but 1 of those teams (Orioles) ranks 26th or lower in average total payroll. Bill Bavasi has run this team into the ground. His decisions make me wonder if he is actually still on the Angel's payroll off the books being paid to tank the Mariner's on purpose. That would be the only way his performance as G.M. could possibly be described as "excellent". FIRE HIS GOLD BRICKIN' ASS!!!

    • To be outplayed by teams such as Oakland and Florida, with less than 15\% of our payroll, is simply humiliating. Why continue to allow the team to be such a joke?

    • I bleed Teel and Blue. It really hurts me to watch a team lose like this. i'm tired of watching old washed up veterans tool around in Safeco. Ichiro, Beltre, Bedard, Felix, Yuni, Lopez, Putz, Wlad, Lowe, Rowland Smith, and Silva should be the only players that are on the current roster that should stay their. Sexson, Vidro, Batista, Washed-Up Washburn and Cairo (what the hell does he do to help this team) should be booted for poor performance and/or no contribution because of playing time (why keep 'em if they play only 1 time, if even, a week) I'm tired of it. Grow a fricking brain. Heck, with the size of Bavasi's noggin, you'd think he'd have one!
