Dear whom may it concern,
We students should be able to express our own opinions and ideas. Lately the dress of some has been getting out of hand, thus you reacted by proposing a stricter dress code. We students believe that we should have the right to dress in any way we want, as long as it's not outrageous. Forcing students to be limited in their dress cuts down on personal creativity, while changes could be made, forcing a student to dress in one way is way too drastic a step.
